Q:  What can I expect from the Conference this year?

A:  This Conference will be designed to bring you the latest information about the on-going effotrs of the SBA to increase small business owner's access to capital.  Additionally, with the recent changes to the program, and all of the proposed changes, this years conference will be very important for all lenders, exhibitors and sponsors to attend.  All of the training events will cover all of this information.  Our website will be continually updated as we begin to finalize the specific topics.

It would be helpful if you would also include a possible workshop presenter, if you have one in mind.

Q:  How many attend the conference and where do they come from?

A:  The Mid-America Lender’s Conference attracts lenders and service-providers from all over the nation. The core states in Region VI are Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. But we are inviting SBA Districts and Regional Staff from throughout the country. We hope they bring many of their staff with them. This Conference was the first of its kind, is the longest running and the most respected in the nation.

Q:  How much will the conference cost?

A:  We are doing everything we can to keep the costs of the Conference as reasonable as possible. The costs are being finalized right now and will be announced shortly.
